Buy Golden Teacher Magic Mushrooms Grow Kit at GetMagic. DAlthough mushroom grow kits are simple to use and largely foolproof, we have included the most crucial details for you. such as the first mushrooms, the development cycle, temperature, light, and humidity.

How do I store the grow kit?

Do not store your grow kit longer than 2-3 weeks

Starting your mushroom grow kit and the growth procedure immediately away is advised. If you choose to grow later, don’t keep your grow kit in storage for more than two to three weeks following the date of manufacture.

Store in a cool place

The mushroom grow kit must always be kept in the refrigerator (2°C to 4°C). The two digits of the week number are included in the manufacture date that is printed on the cardboard box.

Avoid contamination

Make sure your refrigerator is spotless and devoid of contaminants such as germs, yeast, and other microorganisms. Put the culture kit in a clean plastic bag and close it up well to be safe.

Instructions

  1. 1Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the outside of the growkit with a dry cloth. Remove the lid and save it for step 2
  2. 2Fill the growkit to the edge with lukewarm water (20°C), put the lid back on the growkit and let it soak for 5 minutes.Important: never soak the growkit for more than 1 hour!
  3. 3Remove the lid from the growkit and drain the water well. Let the growkit drain for 10 seconds.
  4. 4Place the growkit in the growbag and fill the growbag with a cup (200-250ml) of lukewarm water (20°C). Then fold the top of the bag and close it with 2 paperclips.
  5. 5PPlace the grow kit in an area with an average room temperature of 20 to 25 °C. Make sure the growkit is not near a radiator or other heat source, nor should it be in direct sunlight or under a lamp.
It’s crucial to keep the bag tight until the first pinheads appear. The CO2 level and humidity within the bag should be as high as feasible till that time.
  6. 6When the first pinheads* appear, everyday (for a few minutes), allow some fresh air into the growbag, and then sprinkle the growkit with a spray bottle. The first observable varieties of small mushroom tops are pinheads. The first pinheads may not appear for 10 to 20 days.
  7. 7Just before the membranes on the bottom of the cap open up, the mushrooms can be picked. Gently grip the stem and turn it left or right while harvesting. Pull the mushroom out as gently as you can once it gets free.
To make way for a new mushroom, it is crucial that the old one is entirely removed.
  8. 8Congratulations, the harvest is complete. It is now possible to grow a new flush of mushrooms by repeating steps 1 to 7 again.

Read the following do’s and dont’s for a successful grow.

Despite the fact that mushroom grow kits are simple to use and almost foolproof, we have provided you with a list of the most crucial details. such as the first mushrooms, the development cycle, temperature, light, and humidity.

Temperature

24°C is the best temperature for the growth of mushrooms. Do not allow the temperature to fall below 20°C or rise above 29°C. You may use a Thermo Heatingmat to maintain the appropriate temperature and prevent it from falling below 20°C. In the winter or in colder parts of the world, a thermo mat is a need.

Light

The mycelium in the magic mushroom kit simply requires light to “understand” that it has reached the surface. Then mushrooms will start to develop. A few hours each day of indirect sunshine or fluorescent/artificial light are more than adequate. Avoid letting the sun beam directly on the grow kit as it may destroy the mycelium.

Humidity

You start misting the day the first pins appear. Remove the paperclip to reveal the grow bag. Spray once against each edge of the bag rather than immediately on the cake. So you mist four times daily. Additionally, misting vents new oxygen inside the bag. After misting, use the paperclip to reseal the bag.

Frequent air exchange (FAE)

Maintain a tight seal on the grow bag until you notice the first pins; CO2 levels should be as high as possible to encourage pinning. After the pinning process, the bag may be opened once or twice daily to allow in fresh air. Push the air out of the bag by opening and closing it, then let fresh air in.

The 1st shrooms!

Buy Golden Teacher Magic Mushrooms Grow Kit at GetMagic. The first little mushrooms (the pins) should start to develop after 10 to 20 days under ideal growing circumstances. Additionally, the strain affects this. Cubensis strains vary in how quickly they develop. It may take another week for it to attain maturity. It might take up to 4-5 weeks for a grow cycle to complete.

Flushes

The mushrooms sprout in clusters. This type of growth is known as a flush. A kit can be used for more than one flush. The largest flushes are the first two. The subsequent flushes will be smaller than the first.

Picking and Harvesting

When the veil between the hat and the stem is about to or has just ripped, it is the ideal time to harvest mushrooms. Waiting too long will cause the mushrooms to release their spores. Pick the ripe mushrooms and leave the others to develop. The alternative is to eliminate all of the mushrooms and begin a fresh flush.

How to pick your mushrooms:

  • Use surgical gloves or disinfect your hands, wrists and arms.
  • Remove the mushrooms from the cake by taking hold of the base of the mushroom between thumb and index finger.
  • Rotating your hand clockwise slowly, until the mushroom lets go.

Never remove the mushrooms. The mycelium would be at risk of being killed by this damage. Pick the smaller and pin mushrooms once the majority of the bigger ones have been harvested.

Mushrooms that grow from the sides

Wherever the light can penetrate and there is little opposition to it, mushrooms will grow. The mushrooms could possibly grow there because the edges of the cake are illuminated. You have the following choices:

  • Darken the sides of the kit by putting it in the cardboard box.
  • Spray the top soil a bit to stimulate more growth on the top
  • Do nothing and let them grow

Soaking

After all the mushrooms are harvested, you prepare the kit for the next flush. Disinfected your hands or use gloves; take the grow box out of the grow bag.

  • Fill the container with lukewarm water (20°C)
  • Take the lid use it to close the container.
  • Let it soak for 5 – 20 minutes.
  • Remove the lid, and drain the water
  • Place the growkit in the growbag and fill the growbag with a cup (200-250ml) of lukewarm water (20°C)

This procedure is known as soaking. The cake will now be moistened by the water, making it ready for the subsequent flush. You may hang the grow bag with the micronfilter upside down to dry while it is soaking. After each flush, many growers like to use brand-new, unopened grow bags.

Next Flush

Continue by performing steps 2 through 7 just as you did when you originally began the procedure. A fresh flush will occur a few days later. A grow kit can yield at least two flushes. Frequently, the initial flush is the largest.

The End

Golden Teacher Magic mushrooms grow kit GetMagic For Sale. The grow kit can be discarded when no additional mushrooms sprout from it after the second flush for at least 5–6 weeks, or when it becomes green, red, grey, or yellow. The grow kit is infected with another fungus or bacterium if its color changes, which is an indication. The mushroom grow kit should be discarded in the outdoor trash or in your garden because no more mushrooms will grow from it.

Spores

The mushrooms will spill their spores if you pluck them too late. Due to the spores, the cake and the mushrooms will become black or purple (some other cubensis strains will turn red or brown). This is only an aesthetic issue; it’s not truly a concern.

The active compounds in mushrooms begin to deteriorate as soon as they release their spores. There will be some potency loss in mushrooms.

Golden Teacher Strain information

Buy Golden Teacher Magic Mushrooms Grow Kit at GetMagic. Some people think that a Golden Teacher mushroom specimen was discovered growing in the wild in Florida, USA, in the 1980s. The word quickly spread, mostly as a result of the identifiable golden hats with yellow flecks. The Golden Teacher magic mushrooms are fairly huge and quite exquisite in appearance when compared to other Psilocybe Cubensis mushroom varieties.

According to a legend, the Golden Teacher was actually a Hawaiian PES that a Dutch mushroom grower gave the name “Golden Teacher” to because: “sometimes right before the veils break when the primordia are at their largest size before becoming mature, the entire shroom can have a golden yellowish color which vanishes when maturity starts to set in.” Currently down, fanaticus.com is the source.
