magic-mushroom-grow-kit-cambodia-xl-by-mondo-for-sale. The magic mushroom grow kit from Mondo® Cambodia XL differs somewhat from other grow kits you may have used in the past. These modifications are primarily “under the hood” and difficult to notice.

You don’t need to utilize extra spores, just like with the prior and other quick mushoom grow kits. The spores have grown in mycelium inside the substrate (the cake) in the grow box during the laboratory procedure.

How to store the grow kit correctly

It is advised to begin the cultivation process as soon as possible. You can keep the grow kit in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for two weeks following the manufacture date if you wish to start growing later. First, seal the plastic shopping bag tightly around the grow kit.

How to prepare the room and yourself before you begin

• Close any open windows. Wind or draft may bring microorganisms that can contaminate the Mondo® ‘Cambodia’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit.
• When taking out the grow box with the cake from the carton box, put it on a disinfected surface. If this surface would not be clean, micro organisms may attach to the grow box and will flourish inside the Mondo® ‘Cambodia’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit, and will contaminate the grow box.
• Make sure you work with clean hands and arms. We recommend using surgical gloves or a good disinfectant when handling the kit. You should use a facemask to avoid breathing into the grow bag and on the cake.

Starting the process

1. Fill the box with fresh, potable water. Close the grow box well and let is soak for 12 hours.
2. After 12 hours, pour the surplus of water out of the grow box.
3. Place the grow box inside the large grow bag. The open end of the bag should point upwards.
4. Remove the lid from the grow box. Rinse the lid, and store it in the ziplock bag for later use. Place the ziplockbag with the lid back in the carton box.
5. Fold the open end of large grow bag twice; do not cover the micron filter.
6. Place the paperclip on the fold, so the bag stays closed. Now the Mondo® ‘Cambodia’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit is ready to grow.
7. Place the Mondo® ‘Cambodia’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit inside the carton box, on top of the ziplock with lid.

Temperature

24°C is the optimal temperature. Do not allow the temperature to fall below 18°C or rise above 29°C. You may use a thermo mat to maintain the appropriate temperature and prevent it from falling below 18°C. In the winter or in colder parts of the world, a thermo mat is a need.

Light

Light is all that is required for the mycelium in the Mondo® “Cambodia” XL magic mushroom grow kit to “understand” that it has reached the surface. Then mushrooms will start to develop. A few hours each day of indirect sunshine or fluorescent/artificial light are more than adequate. Avoid letting the sun beam directly on the grow kit as it may destroy the mycelium.

Water / Misting

Do not spray directly on the cake, but spray one time against every side of the bag. So you mist once a day, four sprays. Misting also vents fresh oxygen inside the bag. Right after misting, close the bag again with the paperclip.

Mushrooms

If the conditions are optimal, you can expect the first small mushrooms (the pins) to appear between 5 and 16 days. This also depends on the strain. Some cubensis strains grow slower than others.

Flushes

The mushrooms sprout in clusters. This group may be tiny or huge. According to the strain. This type of growth is known as a flush. Almost never do mushrooms get ripe at the same time. A kit can be used for more than one flush. The largest flushes are the first two. The subsequent flushes will be smaller than the first.

Picking

Picking mushrooms when the veil covering the stem and the hat has barely torn indicates that they are ripe. Wait no more, please. You can either clean your hands, wrists, and arms or use surgical gloves. Pick the ripe mushrooms and leave the others to develop. By grasping the mushroom’s base between your thumb and index finger, you may take the mushrooms out of the cake. Slowly turn your hand in a clockwise direction until the mushroom releases. Never remove the mushrooms. The mycelium would be at risk of being killed by this damage. Pick the smaller and pin mushrooms once the majority of the bigger ones have been harvested.

Mushrooms that grow from the sides

The mushrooms could possibly grow there because the edges of the cake are illuminated. This is hard to combat and is permissible. Some gardeners cover the grow box’s sides in aluminum foil to make them opaque, but this tactic isn’t always effective.

When mushrooms grow there, they can be picked just before you soak the kit:

tidy hands! The grow box should be placed on your other hand, upside down, after being removed from the bag. Move the plastic container around to make the cake spill out and land on your hand. You can put the plastic container on a clean surface. You may now pluck the mushrooms off the cake’s sides with this hand that is now free. When every mushroom has been selected, return the cake to its original location in the plastic box and go on with the soaking procedure.

Soaking

When all the mushrooms have been harvested, get the kit ready for the subsequent flush. Once more, remove the grow box from the main grow bag using clean hands or gloves. Fill the container with clean, drinkable water. Take the ziplock bag’s lid off and use it to seal the grow box. Close the grow box and place it in a soaking bag or a clean plastic shopping bag that you have on hand. Place this container tightly closed and in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for 12 hours. This procedure is known as soaking. The cake will now be moistened by the water, making it ready for the subsequent flush.

During the soaking you can hang the grow bag with micronfilter upside down to dry. Make sure to hang it upside down, so no micro organisms will access the bag. Many growers prefer to use new and unused grow bags after every flush.

After 12 hours take the soaking Bag with the grow box, out from the fridge and unpack it.

Next Flush

Continue by performing steps 3 through 7 just as you did when you originally began the procedure. A fresh flush will occur a few days later. A Mondo® ‘Cambodia’ XL Magic mushroom grow kit may yield at least two or three flushes. If you have growing experience, a kit will yield more flushes.

The end

When a Mondo® ‘Cambodia’ XL Magic Mushroom grow kit stops producing mushrooms after the second flush for at least three weeks, or when it becomes green, red, grey, or yellow, the grow kit can be thrown away.The grow kit is infected with another fungus or a bacteria if the color changes, which indicate. The Mondo® ‘Cambodia’ XL Magic mushroom grow kit will no longer produce mushrooms, and it should be discarded in the outside trash.

Spores

Due to the spores, the cake and the mushrooms will become black or purple (some other cubensis strains will turn red or brown). This is only an aesthetic issue; it’s not truly a concern.
