The grow kit for the Psilocybe cubensis Mondo® Golden Teacher Magic Mushroom differs somewhat from others you may have used in the past. This can only be observed in the substrate formula and is not merely known to everyone. not even here!

You don’t need to utilize extra spores, just like with the prior and other quick grow kits. The spores inside the substrate (the cake) in the grow box have transformed into mycelium throughout the laboratory procedure. The substrate has been entirely colonized by the mycelium, and mushrooms may now be grown there.

How to store the grow kit correctly

It is advised to begin the cultivation process as soon as possible. You may keep the grow kit in the refrigerator (2°C to 8°C) for two weeks if you wish to start growing later. First, seal the plastic shopping bag tightly around the grow kit.

How to prepare the room and yourself before you begin

• Close any open windows. Wind or draft may bring microorganisms that can contaminate the Psilocybe cubensis ‘Golden Teacher’ Magic Mushroom grow kit.
• Put the grow box with the cake on a clean area after removing it from the carton box. The Psilocybe cubensis ‘Golden Teacher’ Magic Mushroom grow kit might get contaminated if this surface is not clean because germs could stick to it and develop within the grow kit if it is not.

Temperature

The ideal temperature is 24°C. Do not have the temperature drop under 18°C and not exceed 29°C. To keep the temperature from dropping under the 18°C, you can use a Thermo Heatingmat to maintain the ideal temperature. A thermo mat is a must-have in the winter or colder regions of the world.

Light

The Psilocybe cubensis Mondo® Golden Teacher Magic Mushroom Grow Kit just requires light for the mycelium to ‘understand’ it has reached the surface. Then mushrooms will start to develop. A few hours each day of indirect sunshine or fluorescent/artificial light are more than adequate. Avoid letting the sun beam directly on the grow kit as it may destroy the mycelium.

Water / Misting

You start with misting the day after you start the procedure. Remove the paperclip to reveal the grow bag. Spray once against each edge of the bag rather than immediately on the cake. So you mist four times daily. Additionally, misting vents new oxygen inside the bag. After misting, use the paperclip to reseal the bag.

Mushrooms

The first little mushrooms (the pins), if the circumstances are ideal, should start to develop between five and sixteen days after planting. Additionally, the strain affects this. Cubensis strains vary in how quickly they develop.

Flushes
